Palkonya, one of the jewels of the Villány wine region, awaits visitors with many attractions and natural beauty. The most outstanding landmark of the village is the historic cellar line consisting of 53 press houses, which is located in the southern part of the settlement. These press houses date back to the 18th century and preserve the traditions of winemaking (Near and Far) (Csodahelyek.hu).

The Round Church of Palkonya, also known as St. Elizabeth's Church, was built in 1816 and is one of the main attractions of the village with its baroque style (Csodahelyek.hu). The Szőlőhegyi hiking trail leads through the Weingarten vineyard, which lies above the village, and offers a stunning view of the vineyards and fish ponds. For lovers of gastronomic experiences, Palkonya offers special opportunities, such as wine tastings and gastro tours, where you can taste local wines and food. Among the annual events, the Palkonyai Pünkösdi Nyitott Pincék event stands out, during which visitors can gain an insight into the life and products of local wineries (Near and Far).
