Zengővárkony is a small settlement in Baranya county, at the foot of Zengő, which boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage. One of the most interesting sights is the Míves Egg Museum, which presents more than 2,500 egg ornaments, including the "Hymnus egg" (ZenGovarkony) made with a special openwork technique. The Szalma-Kincs-Tár offers an international collection of objects made of straw, presenting different techniques and tools (ZenGovarkony). And the local Tájház explores the folk lifestyle and architecture of the early 20th century, with painted furniture and contemporary photos (ZenGovarkony) (Pécsvárad.hu). In addition, it is worth visiting the Reformed church, which was built in the late Baroque style and has special historical significance (Pécsvárad.hu). The settlement's gentle chestnut trees are also famous, among which you can also find the grave of Pál Rockenbauer (Pécsvárad.hu).
